Since my first novel, TWISTER, was published by Dell as a mass market paperback original in 1975, I’ve published at least one novel, and sometimes as many as seven or eight every year.

May 13, 2008 is my first piece of non-fiction since my days as a journalist. It's a bit of writing
that was particularly difficult but satisfying to me. After seventy plus novels I've become
accustomed to making up stuff as I go. But with Mutiny! I was forced to tell the truth, though
I was able to use fictional techniques to make a very real story come alive.
